Devotional: Ephesians 5

Read Chapter 5 in Ephesians and read through the question below:

1. What do you think it means to be an "imitator of God"? How are you walking in light rather than darkness? If not then what changes need to be made so that your heart walks in the light?

2. Do you try to live wisely? Do you seek the Lord's will in your life? How do you know whether you walking in it or not?

3. What should be our understand of how husbands and wives should interact? How should this cause us to relate with girls today when we are single?

Devotions: Ephesians 4

Read Ephesians Chapter 4 and look at these question below to help you with thinking through it:

1. How do you act? What actions characterize you? Are they found in the beginning of this chapter? Do you seek unity of the body or of things in general?

2. Do you see yourself as a part of the body? What do you think are your spiritual gifts? Are you using them to build up the body and to serve others?

3. Do you desire to live in holiness and righteousness? Do you see yourself living different now as a believer than before when you weren't? Are you putting off anger, impurity, and are you watching what you say?

Devotions: Ephesians 3

Read Chapter 3 in Ephesians and use the following questions below to help you think through it:

1. Do you understand the power behind the gift of God's grace? How often do you ask for the power of the Holy Spirit to give you strength to do thins in your life?

2. Reread v.19, Do you think that knowing the love of Christ surpasses all other knowledge? Do you think knowing Christ is the most important thing? How are you seeking to be filled up to the fullness with this knowledge?

3. Do you seek to glorify God in all you do? Do you understand that God is working things for His glory and do you enjoy that?

Devotions: Ephesians 2

Read Ephesians chapter 2 and read through the questions below while answering them in relationship to the chapter:

1. Do you believe you are saved by grace alone? Do you understand the great love of God in our salvation? Do you see yourself as God's workmanship and that your good works come from a heart that has been changed by God?

2. Do you try to merit or earn your own salvation at times through your own righteousness? Do you become prideful in yourself for your obedience?

3. Reread v.22, How does the understanding that the Holy Spirit lives within you affect the way you walk? What changes in your heart do you need to make?

Pray: Ask God to use the Holy Spirit to change your attitude and intentions to that of living by grace and walking in good works. Ask for great change in your heart that you would hate sin more and love obedience to God by grace more.

Devotions: Ephesians 1

Read Ephesians chapter 1 and use these following questions below to help with your thinking through it:

1. Reread v. 7-8, Do you believe these verses? How does this affect your actions? Do you see God's grace for us was planned and are you walking a life that is trusting Him?

2. How glorious is Jesus Christ to you? How precious? What is your walk like because of the answers to the past two questions?

3. Do you understand if you are a believer you are apart of the Church? Reread v. 23, Do you see Christ fills you? How does this help you make certain changes in your life?
