Questions of Implication:
1. Why did Jesus wash the disciples feet? What was He trying to demonstrate and have the disciples understand?
2. What could be some of the reasoning for Judas' betrayal of Jesus? Look back into last chapter v. 4-6, What does this say about his heart?
3. Why is the glory of God so important? What does Jesus Christ have to do with that glory?
Points of Application:
- Define love? Does it match up with Jesus' demonstration in this chapter? Evaluate how you demonstrate love?
- Define humility? Does it match up with Jesus' demonstration in this chapter? Do you seek to serve others and how far will you go to walk in humility?
- Do you make promise without counting the cost? Now knowing the cost how do you live your life in response to what Jesus' commands? Do you understand what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ?
